Celebrating Dartmoor Ponies and the landscape they help to shape

The Wild Dartmoor® Calendar 2027 brings together 12 of my favourite images of Dartmoor ponies living within their native moorland landscape.

Created as part of my Wild Dartmoor® project, the calendar celebrates the Dartmoor pony while raising awareness of the important role these native ponies play in conservation grazing. Through the way they graze, browse and move across the moor, they help shape diverse habitats, support biodiversity and contribute to the conservation of one of Britain’s most treasured landscapes.

For 2027, I have partnered with Johnson Printers to create a newly designed and significantly upgraded calendar. With heavier, higher-quality paper throughout, the new calendar has been designed to give both the photography and the finished product a more substantial, high-quality feel. Johnsons Printes have been trusted by photographers, artists, and creatives for years, producing calendars for some of the UK top Landscape Photographers such as Joe Cornish.

The calendar is A4 landscape when closed and opens to A3 portrait when hanging, with a full landscape photograph on the upper half and a spacious calendar below for appointments and notes. It is wire-bound through the centre and includes a hanging hole at the top, allowing it to fold neatly back to A4 for storage or posting.

The result is a beautiful and practical photographic calendar showcasing the character of Dartmoor’s native ponies and the atmosphere and changing seasons of the landscape they call home.
